In the next couple of paragraphs, I am going to show you how to cure stammering. I am able to make this strong of a statement due to the fact that I said I was going to show you how to cure stammering, not do it for you. Just bare with me and I will get to my point. What I am going to show you will not work over night. In fact you will wake up tomorrow still stammering. If you give it a lot of hard work and determination, you will reach the cure. I am going to give you certain steps that you should take to get this job done and done right.

What I am going to show you here is not a quick fix. You are not going to wake up in the morning free of your stammering. You will have to do some work on your part. Okay, a lot of work on your part. Because there are certain action steps that I am going to describe to you to get the job done properly.

There are two fancy terms in the science of stammering that I am going to bring up briefly, and then we are going to put them away in the back of your mind, because this isn\’t a science journal. But it is important that you know about them, because they are part of the cure. These two words are triggers and blocks. In the case of stammering, we are dealing more so with blocks than with triggers, as triggers are more related to stuttering.

What you need to do first is to grab your favorite magazine or book, whatever you may have lying around the house. Find something that will keep you interested in reading. While reading this start timing yourself for the next minute. Make sure during this minute to focus on speaking clearly and fluently, but don\’t get aggravated with it and mad about reading out loud. When you have finished reading, go back and count all the words you read for a minute. This way you have a starting point or a base, so to speak. That way you can compare numbers as you move up in this exercise.

Next you need to read the same thing again. Make sure to read at a pace that doesn\’t make you stammer, be comfortable. You will probably start at a slow pace, but don\’t let that bother you. Also be sure to record the amount of words read for that minute. It will not matter if it is less or more than your first number. You should only focus on how fast you can read out loud, without stammering.

Do it again. Read for a minute out loud, and write down the number. Your goal here is to get faster over time. Do not rush it, take your time. Only get faster if you can make it through your reading without stammering at that speed. Read without stammering, practice will make it better.

Again, I want to point out that this is not an overnight thing. So don\’t think it will be. It is going to take you a bit of time to make it through this exercise, without stammering. Learning how to cure stammering is a process. Only call the exercise a success when you have made it through at a good speaking pace, without stammering. Make sure to change up your reading to give yourself something different each time,

This is a great exercise when learning how to cure stammering. There are quite a few more exercises out there that will help you gain fluency in your speech.

Either you can continue to suffer with your stammer problem, like you have been for a long time, or you can go straight to these links where I am going to reveal the cause of your stuttering problems, and how you can start speaking fluently very quickly.
